Bruce “Casey” Stephen Ledford, 61, of Black Mountain passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2015 after an extended period of declining health.
He was the son of the late Bis and Thelma Metcalf Ledford.
Bruce was also preceded in death by his nephew Ronald Messer, Jr.
Bruce is survived by three sons, Brandon, Jacob, and Jeremy Ledford; brothers, Earl Ledford of Asheville and Charles (Wanda) Ledford of Black Mountain; sisters, Frances Messer of Raleigh, NC and Jean (John) Shaw of Swannanoa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with a short visitation following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff and residents of Nana’s Assisted Living and CarePartners Hospice for the love and special care that was provided to Bruce.
