Wanda Louise Hensley went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 4, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Pearl Gragg; brother, Roy Burrell, sister, Sally Hensley, and husband, Tom Hensley.
Mrs. Hensley is survived by her daughter, Dail Gragg; granddaughters, Courtney and Brittany Buchanan; great granddaughters, Keri Buchanan-Walden, Nyah Greenarch, and Payton Kennedy. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Gragg, Alma “Lit” Williams, and Norma Gragg; and brother, Fred Gragg.
Wanda was a lifelong resident of the Swannanoa and East Asheville communities, and a member of Berea Baptist Church. She was a gifted crafter, seamstress, and cook; and had a great love of music, especially Bluegrass and Country. She was well loved and will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 6:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. James Lamb officiating.
