Ronald Dean Linens, 69, of Asheville, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Mr. Linens was born August 29, 1946 in Buncombe County to the late Charles and Agnes Atkins Linens. He enjoyed reading, and was an avid sport fan especially baseball. Ronald was a veteran of the US Army.
Ronald is survived by his siblings, Brenda Bartlett (Bruce) of Black Mountain, Johnnie Atkins Whisnant (Harvey) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michael Ross Butner of Asheville, and Judith Elaine Butner of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Harwood Home for Funerals. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
A private burial will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
