Barbara Jones, 70, of Black Mountain passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Mrs. Jones was born December 31, 1945 in Buncombe County to the late Roy and Pearl Vanover Burnette.
Barbara loved visiting the beach, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and cooking. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, Floyd, and Charlie Burnette and significant other, Warren Smith.
Barbara is survived by her children, Cynthia Pierce, Randy Jones, and Lyn Haynie; siblings, Mae, Bud, and Bobby; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Robbie, April, Sarah, Jonathan, Christian, Ryan, Silas, Meghan, Payton, Maddox, Jaiden, Shemar, and Mackynzie.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:30pm in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
