Obituary for James "Jim" Robinson

James “Jim” Robinson, 85, of Swannanoa, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
Mr. Robinson was born July 4, 1931 in Buncombe County to the late B.Z. and Pauline Ledford Robinson. Jim was a Veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Robinson; and brother, Rev. Jimmie Robinson.
Jim is survived by his wife, Edna Sexton Robinson; daughters, Debbie Robinson, Robbin Glenn, and Darlene Robinson; sisters, Eleanor Robinson, Oleta Boone, Rita Robinson, and Elaine Hawkins; brothers, Franklin and Hubert Robinson; grandchildren, Misty Pasztor (Tomi), Matt Robinson, Caleb Robinson, Jasmine Robinson, and Luke Rumney; and great grandchildren, Aleah Lytle Robinson and Adrianna Bartlett.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Jim Page officiating.
Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
