Obituary for Kenneth M. Sapp

Kenneth M.  Sapp
Kenneth M. Sapp of Swannanoa went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 4, 2017 surrounded by his family.
He retired from Beacon Mfg. Co. and was also a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Carrie Sapp; brothers, Don and Cooper Sapp; sister, Francis Blackwelder; and grandson, Alex White.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Sapp; children, Anthony “Tony” Sapp (Kathi), Susan White, and Mitch Sapp all of Swannanoa; sister, Sarah Misenheimer (Joe); grandchildren, Christen Davidson (Ben), John Luke, and James Michael Sapp; and great grandchildren, Porter and Reid Davidson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 1:00pm at Swannanoa First Baptist Church where he was a member for over 40 years. Dr. Jeff Dowdy and Rev. Dan Snyder will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11:30am to 1:00pm prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Donations may be made in his name to Swannanoa First Baptist Church, Community Outreach Program, 503 Park Street, Swannanoa, NC 28778.
