Nancy Shelton Wiseman, 86, of Black Mountain, passed away October 22, 2017.
Nancy was born May 25, 1931 in Jackson County to the late Elbert and Mellie Shelton. She loved to play the piano, listen to gospel music, and was a member of Homer’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wiseman; son-in-law, Raymond Faulkner; grandson, Matthew Faulkner; 3 sisters and 1 brother.
Nancy is survived by her son, Jim Wiseman (Lena); daughters, Linda Faulkner, Sharon Wiseman, and Judy Patton (Charlie); grandchildren, Angie Shaw (John), Michael Wiseman, and Stephen Patton; great grandchildren, Chason, Tyler, Jackson, William, Taleah, and Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following with Rev. Doug Mathis officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
