Hattie L. Ervin, 91, of Fairview passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017.
Mrs. Ervin was born March 27, 1926 in Buncombe County to the late Robert and Blanche Foster Lord. She retired from the Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Black Mountain as a Registered Nurse. Hattie was a member of East Asheville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Ervin and two sisters.
Hattie is survived by her son, Edd Ervin and wife, Cindy of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Lynette Ervin and Mark Ervin and wife, Jessica.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, December 4, 2017 at 3:00pm at East Asheville United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Sky View Memorial Park.
