Betty L. Wilson Beahan, 90, of Black Mountain, passed away August 31, 2015.
Betty was born April 27, 1925 in Greenville, PA at home to the late John A. and Clairabelle Wilson. Betty also lived in Stoneboro, PA then in 1972 she moved to Lady Lake, FL and in 1995 she moved to Black Mountain, NC.
She previously worked at Safran’s Grocery Store in Stoneboro, PA and Betty enjoyed sewing. Betty was also a member of the card club, and made cheerleader outfits for Lakeview High School.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, John T. Beahan, Jr.; and daughter, Sandra L. Beahan Rector.
Betty is survived by her son, John T. Beahan; grandchildren, J. D. Rector and wife Melinda, and Shelley Rector and husband Dwayne; great grandchildren, Cody Rector, Shawna Rector Curtis, and Chase Blair; and great-great granddaughter, Cora Curtis.
