Ricky Edwards, 56, of Swannanoa, passed away April 28, 2017.
Ricky was born June 9, 1960 in Buncombe County to Johnny and Judy Edwards. He was employed with the Biltmore Estate in the Maintenance Department. Ricky was an avid builder and carpenter, and he loved the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Ricky is survived by his fiancé, Charlene Hipps; sons, Nathan and Matthew Edwards; special children, Ashley and Shannon Hipps; brother, Bryan Edwards; one grandson; and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00pm at Tabernacle United Methodist Church with Rev. James Lamb officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
