Arrlie “AC” Carroll Fox, 69, passed away at John F. Keever Solace Center on Monday, November 6, 2017. Arrlie was born October 10, 1948 in Buncombe County and lived in Fairview for the past 37 years. He was a servant for the Lord and loved his home church dearly. Arrlie was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle; but, no words can describe the love he had for his grandchildren and great grands.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Debra Sue Fox; two sons William Fox and James McMahan; parents Levi Sr and Flora Johnson Fox; four sisters and four brothers.
Arrlie is survived by two daughters Vanessa Sprouse (Bradie) and Christina Buckner (Greg Jr); daughter in-law Patience Freeman (Brandon); 11 grandchildren, Mercedes Sherlin (Jerremy), Destiny, Audrey, Blayne, Chance, Skye, Alyvia, Hannah-Grace, Kylie, Wyatt and Trystin; three great grands, Colton, Liam and Kamden; one sister Annette Ragan (Ronnie); many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals with Rev. Todd Royal officiating. Burial will be in the Cane Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund at SECU, in care of Christina Buckner, has been set up for any remaining expenses.
