What a special lady! Was a privilege to count her among my friends

What a friend! Ellen was so special and my prayer warrior friend! I will miss her more than words can express! Her wit and smile always brightened the day. We worked together and remained friends over the years. She volunteered at Hope where she encouraged many. She and Julie were a part of the Strength for Living Support Group and were a great asset with their encouragement to others. Rest in Peace my friend and I will meet you again. I will continue to pray for your family.

I will miss all the visits with Ellen and the many smiles and laughter we shared. Ellen always took the effort to stay in touch and was happy to share her joys as well as her difficult times. Ellen you were a great friend and you will be missed by many. I wish you peace.

I have sent a donation in memory of Ellen to the National Kidney Foundation.

I was saddened to hear about Ellen. I worked with her for many years. During the many transitions at the Center, she remained upbeat, smiling and helpful to all. I will miss her laugh. Rest in peace.

I did not know of Ellen’s declining health since we had lost touch since her retirement. Her death has come too quickly. Ellen worked with me for several years at Black Mountain Center.
