Obituary for Arnold Porter Jones
Arnold Porter Jones, 87, of Black Mountain, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021.
Mr. Jones was born September 4, 1933 in Buncombe County to the late Oscar and Lily Morris Jones. He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Allen Jones; sister, Evelyn; and brothers, Jack, Malone, and Doyle.
Arnold is survived by his daughters, Karen Luck and Tammy Brown (Russ); sons, Hayes Jones (Renee) and David Jones; sister, Inez Raines; brother, Junior Jones; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00am in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services.
Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
