Obituary for Barbara Howell Hall
Barbara Howell Hall, 79, of Black Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2021.
Mrs. Hall was born July 15, 1941 in Mitchell County, NC to the late Dallas and Helen Howell. Barbara enjoyed working outside with her flowers and was a member of Brookside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her son, David “Foot” Hall; sisters, Betty Hughes and Ruby Buchanan; and brothers, Ellis and Charles Howell.
Barbara is survived by her husband, David “Bud” Hall; daughter, Tammy Smith (Michael); daughter-in-law, Theresa Hall; sister, Naomi Benge; grandchildren, David Cody Hall (Amy), Jake Hall (Amanda) and Jessica Carter; great grandchildren, Aidan and Taelyn Ogle, Raelynn and Easton Hall; special friends, Kandy Barhan, Betty Norman, and Debbie Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services.
A celebration of life service will be Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Bugenhagen and Rev. Charles Dyke officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
