Obituary for Barbara Ann Moody
Barbara Ann Moody, 78, of Fletcher, went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2022.
Barbara was born August 25, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Autie and Ruby Capps. She was a woman of faith; and a devoted and beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Moody; and brother, Claude Capps.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, DeWayne Burrell, Jerra Lynn Hill (Victor), and Doug Bowman; sisters, Bobbie Bates and Martha Johnson (David); brother, Roger Capps; and grandson, Tyler Hill.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park.
