Obituary for Bernice D. Mundy
Bernice Davis Mundy, 75, of Black Mountain, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
Mrs. Mundy was born October 28, 1946 in West Virginia to the late Kenneth and Lema Gowan Davis. She was employed with Kearfott for over 20 years and she attended Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Doyle, Ray, Howard and Bettie.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Carl Mundy; children, Brian Mundy and Renee Hughes (Allen); brother, Clyde Davis; grandchildren, Brooke, Dylan, Nathaniel, Oliver and Carly; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at the church with Rev. Randy Stone officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Church Cemetery.
