Obituary for Betty Beam Tomblin
Betty Beam Tomblin, 90, of Asheville, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022.
Betty was born March 14, 1931, in Rutherford County to the late Audley and Edna Robbins Beam. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Swannanoa.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rogers Tomblin; two brothers and three sisters.
Betty is survived by her sons, Rogers Tomblin, Jr. (Cindy) of Rutherfordton and Louis Tomblin (Amanda) of Asheville; grandchildren, Jeffrey Tomblin (Andrea), Becky Dodge (Cody), Jacob Tomblin (Brianna) and Jessie Michels (Jonathan); and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00am on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
