Obituary for Beverley June Colvard
Beverley June Colvard of Sylva, NC, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 2, 2019 after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Lucy Stacey. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Gene Delvis Stacey and Robert Lee Stacey; and one sister, Evelyn Stacey.
Beverley is survived by one brother, Joe Mack Stacey of Cullowhee, NC; one son, Bob Richeson of Whitehaven, PA; and three daughters, Kim Hooten of Jacksonville, FL, Dana Gallagher of Cullowhee, NC, and Nikole Fortner also of Cullowhee, NC. Along with her ten loved grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Beverley enjoyed working with special needs adults and later assisting with senior citizens. She cherished spending time with her family, gardening, and being outdoors.
Funeral services will be held at Johns Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00pm with the Rev. Tom Lavin officiating.
