Obituary for Brenda Williams (Johnson)
Brenda Johnson Williams, 78, of Black Mountain passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Mrs. Williams was born November 15, 1943 in McDowell County to the late Jobie and Geneva Johnson. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and was an avid sports fan. Brenda retired from Kearfott.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, John David Williams; brother, Doug Johnson and grandson, John Mark Williams.
Brenda is survived by her children, Scott Williams (Sharon), Tammy Willet (Stanley), and Keith Williams (Demetria); mother, Geneva Johnson; brothers, Jack, Richard and Roger Johnson; grandchildren, Mandi, Brandon, Emily, Hannah, Hope, Matthew, Erika, Koltyn, and Keebryn; and great grandchildren, Bailee, Kenzlee, Brayden, Rhylee, John Luke, Maddox, Benton, Scarlett, Georgia, Logan and Aria.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at Mountain View Baptist Church with a Celebration of life service to immediately follow. Pastor Brent Bolick will officiate.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday, April, 7, 2022 at 11:00am in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
