Obituary for Carolyn R. Mennenga (Frank)
Carolyn R. Mennenga, 82, of Arden passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
Mrs. Mennenga was born April 15, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Herbert and Beatrice Frank. She was a resident of Buncombe County for the past 23 years and worked in the Aerospace industry as a calibration technician until her retirement. She attended Mountain View Church in Black Mountain and Trinity of Fairview where she was active in her Jubilee Sunday school class.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Mennenga; father of her children, Blake Phillips and brother, Ralph Frank.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Rodney Phillips (Dorothy) of Mesa, AZ, Renee Phillips of Port Richey, FL and Rhonda Ammons (Bobby) of Black Mountain; grandchildren, Ian Ammons (April), Elijah Ammons, Kelly Scanlan and Joshua Pruitt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services with Rev. Stacey Harris officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
