Obituary for Connie Elizabeth Gragg
Connie Elizabeth Gragg, 75, of Black Mountain, passed away May 11, 2021.
Connie was born February 15, 1946 in Swain County to the late Julius and Margaret McDowell. She was co-owner of Gragg Realty LLC and a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Bryson City.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur Lee Nesby and Julius McDowell, Jr.
Connie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael T. Gragg; sisters, Betty McDowell, Lenora Randolph, and Laura Boyd (Shawn); brother, Edward Hamilton (Cece); and sister-in-law, Ilka McDowell.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 14, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. A celebration of life service will immediately follow with Rev. Herbert Grant officiating.
Burial will be Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
