Obituary for Dale "Hippie" Carmichael
Dale “Hippie” Carmichael, 64, of Black Mountain, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022.
Dale was born March 20, 1958 in Louisiana to the late William and Viola Melton Carmichael. He has lived most of his life in Black Mountain and traveled around with his musician friends and was a “roadie” with the Artimus Pyle Band.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Carmichael Woody.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Amber Carmichael; brother, David Carmichael; grandchildren, Tyler and Dallas; and several cousins.
A celebration of life service will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00am in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
