Obituary for Davy Dean Curtis
Davy Dean Curtis, 72, of Black Mountain passed away Friday, April 28, 2023.
Davy was born October 19, 1950 in Yancey County to the late Dee and Hazel Blevins Curtis. He was outgoing and entertaining. Davy loved music and playing the drums. He always put his family first and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Tracy Curtis.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Brooke Curtis (Jacob), Noel Curtis (Erik) and Dylan Curtis; brothers, Danny Curtis, Tony Curtis (Gail), Timmy Curtis, and Freddy Curtis (Billie); sister-in-law, Cindy Curtis; grandchildren, Victoria, Destin, and Olivia and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Service with Rev. Andrew Parker officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
