Obituary for Diane Chandler
Diane Chandler, 63, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in Morganton.
Diane was born September 18, 1957 in Buncombe County and she has resided at the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center for the past 10 years.
Diane is preceded in death by her father, BH Chandler; stepfathers, GC Fox and Jim Dotson; maternal grandparents, Theo and Vesti Williams; paternal grandmother, Mamie Chandler; grandmother, Clara Fox; and several aunts and uncles.
Diane is survived by her mother, Thelma Williams Dotson of Black Mountain; stepbrothers, Larry Dotson (Sherry), Charles Dotson (Redina) and Daryl Dotson (Shannon) all of Asheville; special niece, Sandy Dotson Swink; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held for the family. Burial will be in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Diane to the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, Patient Accounts, 300 Enola Road, Morganton, NC 28655.
