Obituary for Donna Perry (Lucas)
Donna Lucas Perry, 75 of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021.
Mrs. Perry was born August 21, 1945 in Marco, Indiana where she had lived until 1960. She moved to Black Mountain and resided there until 2014 at which she then moved to the Concord/Kannapolis area.
Donna was retired from the Buncombe County Schools and attended Connect Christian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Juanita Lucas and husband, Ulys William “Bill” Perry, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbi Crisp (Gary) of Kannapolis; son, Billy Perry (Danielle) of Swannanoa; sister, Sharon Primm (Kirby) of Wake Forest, NC; brother, Jerry Lucas of Mars Hill, NC; grandchildren, BJ Perry (Marlana), Meghan Perry, Sara Crisp (fiancé, Matt Wallace), Ethan Crisp, and Kaitlyn Lambert; great grandchildren, Ellie, Maddie, Corbin, and William Perry; and special friend, Betty Myers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, April 19, 2021 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services with Rev. Larry Ledford officiating. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
At other times, the family will be at the homes of Billy Perry and Debbi Crisp.
