Obituary for Edmond William Brown
Edmond William Brown was born to the late Bertha Magnolia McEntire and Ira Thomas in Blairsville, GA on January 27, 1936. He gained his heavenly wings on Friday evening, January 28, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was a loving and caring man who, throughout his life, was devoted to his family.
Ed is survived by his children, David Brown, Christine Dotson (Mike), Melissa Trotter, and Mary Louise Brown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren which all love him dearly.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Shingle Hollow Holiness Church in Rutherfordton. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at the church.
Burial will be in Broad River Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Mountain.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
