Obituary for Edna Jones Davis
Edna Jones Davis, 91, of Asheville, passed away on February 11, 2022.
Mrs. Davis was born October 21, 1930 in Jackson County to the late Early and Cora Jones. She retired from the VA Hospital with 25 years of service and she was a former member of Rockdale Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Davis; sons, Michael and Dennis Davis; grandsons, Shawn and Brian Davis; brothers, Thomas Jones, Jr. and Curly Jones; and sister, Lois Davis.
Edna is survived by her sons, Terry Davis (Lynda), Larry Davis (Thelma), Gary Davis (Kate) and Ronnie Davis (Shirley); brother, JB Jones; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 1:30 to 2:30pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. A celebration of life service will immediately follow with Rev. James Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Sky View Memorial Park.
