Obituary for Etheline B. Branch (Briggs)
Etheline Branch, 89, of Asheville passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Etheline was born October 6, 1932 in Yancey County to the late Clingman and Bonnie Briggs. She was a member of Buckeye Baptist Church and a volunteer with the Buncombe Baptist Association.
In addition to her parents, Etheline is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Kester Branch.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mona Allen (Joe) of Fairview, Hal Branch (Penny) of Canton and Tim Branch (Nancy) of Black Mountain; brothers, Daniel and Glenn Briggs; grandchildren, Jimi (Renee), Clint (Joy), Jake, Briana (Jonathan), Brian (Cari), Katy (Jeremy) and Courtney (Ron); great grandchildren, Amelia, Josiah, Carleigh, Rachel, Ramsey, Adaley, Hudson, Colton, Skylar, Leigha, Eli and Nate.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 1:00 to 1:30pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. A celebration of life service will immediately follow in the chapel at 1:30pm. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
