Obituary for Frances Fuller Ramsey
Frances Fuller Ramsey, 85, of Candler, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Frances was born October 12, 1937 in Swain County to the late William Garfield and Hester Sizemore Fuller.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters; granddaughter, Amy Capps Jones; and great granddaughter, Kasey Shoemaker.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Clinton Ramsey (Margie), Denny Ramsey (Debbie), Verna Blackwell (Bobby) and Donald Ramsey (Kathy); brother, Paul Fuller; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 27, 2023 from 11:00 to 12:00pm at Hominy Valley Independent Church, 219 Davis Creek Rd., Candler, NC. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at the church with Rev. Tommy Crowe and Rev. David Hall officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her daughter-in-law, Debbie, and granddaughter, Stephanie, for her countless hours of care and love she gave her “Grammy” during her declining health.
