Obituary for Gail Nanney Gragg
Gail Nanney Gragg, 71, of Black Mountain, went home to be with Jesus on March 12, 2021.
Gail was born February 8, 1950 to the late Rufus and Helen Davis Nanney. She loved her family, Elvis, and the Atlanta Braves. Gail was a member of Berea Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Gail is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Wade Anthony Gragg; sister, Janoice Nanney; and grandchildren, Megan Gragg and Dylan Hensley.
Gail is survived by her children, Daphne Rhodes (Thomas) and Tyler Gragg; step children, Deniece Ogle (Nick), Doug Gragg (Sheila), Tonya Church (David), and Todd Gragg; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Bald Mountain Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 N. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 or to "Access", in care of Appalachian State University Foundation Office in memory Dylan Hensley at www.givenow.appstate.edu and select "Appalachian Access".
