Obituary for George M. Garrison
George M. Garrison, 76, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
Mr. Garrison was born December 19, 1944 in Buncombe County to the late Ernest and Beulah Garrison. He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Garrison; sisters, Martha Reggan and Hattie Lou Garrison and brother, Ned Garrison.
George is survived by his sisters, Earline Owenby and Rowena Rogers; brothers, Bill and Thad Garrison and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:30am to 12:00pm in the chapel prior to the funeral service.
