Obituary for Jean Erwin (Parker)
Jean Parker Erwin, 80 of Candler, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022.
Mrs. Erwin was born June 12, 1942 in Buncombe County to the late Preston and Mildred Parker. She enjoyed being a “Nana” and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Morris H. Erwin and brother, Joe Parker.
Jean is survived by her children, Sandra Banks (Randall), Chuck Brown (Cindi), Vickey Brown (Frankie), and Joe Erwin (Stephanie); special granddaughter whom she raised, Tasha Washington (Nate) and her children, Kadynce and Kenlee; siblings, Darryl, Ronald, Wendell (Barbara), Ricky (Edith), Michael Parker and Debra Parker; grandchildren, Tabitha Cisse (Abibou), Chad Good (Brandy), Chloe Erwin, Felicia Burton (Levi), Casey Dunaway (Derrick), Eddie Brown and Little Eddie Brown and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 2:00pm at Browns View United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
