Obituary for Joyce Ammons (Williams)
Joyce Williams Ammons, 76, of Black Mountain passed away and went to her heavenly home on Monday, January 18, 2021.
Mrs. Ammons was born January 1, 1945 in Buncombe County to the late Hillary and Ruth Williams.
She was a lifelong member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Joyce was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Ammons, Sr.; children, Sherry Roberts (Phil), Bobby Ammons, Jr. (Rhonda), Zanetta Michelle Ownbey (Keith) and Nathan Ammons; grandchildren, Amber, Whitney, Justin, Ian, Elijah, and Alexandria; great grandchildren, Kaden and Kylie; five sisters and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11:00am at Mountain View Baptist Church with Pastor Brent Bolick officiating.
