Obituary for Juanita Aldridge Dyess
Juanita Aldridge Dyess, 90, of Black Mountain, passed away April 4, 2021.
Juanita was born September 11, 1930 to the late Joseph and Claudia Aldridge. She was a member of Church of St. David Celtic Church of The Way and she loved the mountains. Juanita was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, James Anthony Johnson and David Michael Johnson; and sister, Jacqueline Brower.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Tom Dyess; daughter, Barbara Johnson; stepson, Curtis Johnson; grandsons, Jonathan Will Johnson and Eddie Johnson.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at 1:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services with Bishop Ronnie Harbin and Bishop Edwin Morrow officiating. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
