Obituary for Kimberly Lynn Duncan
Now I lay me down to sleep on Sunday, October 31, 2021, Kimberly Lynn Duncan went to be with the Lord.
She was a lifelong resident of Swannanoa and was the proud owner of The Swannanoa Restaurant for 13 years where she cherished many friends. She was a loyal fan of the Tarheels and Warriors.
Kim was preceded in death by her mom, Martha Ruth Ferguson Duncan and sister-in-law, Debbie Duncan.
Left to cherish her memory is her dad, Robert Duncan; brothers, Eddie and Richard (Rhonda) Duncan; sister, Amy (Trey); nephews, Tyler, Justin, Bennett and Logan; nieces, Brooke, Sydney, Ashley, Payton, Avery, Harper and Lakely; special aunts and uncles, Big David and Wanda, Peggy and Sam (deceased).
A Graveside service will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00pm in Mountain View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, Kim requested a good deed and an act of kindness be given toward someone every day.
The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of Mountain Ridge Wellness Center for their care and dedication to Kim during her illness.
