Obituary for Louvena Gail Clark Elliott

Louvena Gail Clark Elliott, 80, of Black Mountain, went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2021.

Gail was born November 16, 1940 in Buncombe County to the late Andy and Daisy Mae Coleman Clark. She was a longtime member of Lackey Town Baptist Church in Old Fort where she served as Treasurer and Sunday School teacher and was involved with Children’s Church and other activities. Gail loved spending time with her family, helping others and cooking. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wayne Elliott; grandson, Zachary Donald Stevens; sister, Helen Clark Polson; and brothers, Alvin and Edwin Clark.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Eric Elliot (Melanie), Kevin Elliott and Keila Elliott Stevens; brother, Phillip Clark; granddaughters, Haley Frizsell (Daniel) and Erica Elliott; great grandchildren, Jackson and Lucas Frizsell, and Ivy Elliott; sisters-in-law, Lois Murphy (Reed) and Barbara Harris (Robert); numerous nieces and nephews; and lots of special friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Stone Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Mountain with Rev. Jeff Parker officiating.
