Obituary for Lucille Dalton
Lucille Dalton, 78, of Black Mountain, passed away April 6, 2021.
Lucille was born September 6, 1942 in Bryson City, NC to the late Dexter and Etta Orr. She was a member of The United Church, and she was a kind, generous, vibrant servant who loved to laugh and mentor young people. Lucille was a Mom to everyone and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Lucille is preceded in death by her son, Curtis Wheeler.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Terry Dalton; son, Ronnie Wheeler (Sissy); siblings, Shirley Jordan, James Orr (Retha), Ruth Bartlett (Bill), and John Orr (Linda); grandchildren, Crystal Wheeler, Christopher Wheeler (Natalee), Jamie Powers (Jammie), and Benjamin Wheeler; great grandchildren, Mason and Grayson Wheeler, Randy and Kinley Powers.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 12, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00am at The Excel Centre, 12 Florida Avenue, Black Mountain, NC 28711. A celebration of life service will immediately follow.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
