Obituary for Marjorie Tweed Davis
Marjorie Tweed Davis, 77, of Black Mountain, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020.
Mrs. Davis was born October 10, 1943 in Madison County to the late Fred and Lillian Gosnell Tweed. Marjorie was the Owner/Operator of Asheville Pool & Patio for over 20 years, dedicating 50 years of service to the company. She enjoyed camping, quilting and gardening. Marjorie attended Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Lane Tweed.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 31 years, Clyde Davis; daughter, Kelly Sluder (Evan); stepdaughter, Christy Bales; sisters, Barbara McFee (Joe) and Sandra Buckner; and grandchildren, Taylor, Carson, Matthew, Megan and Zachary.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Stone officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meadowbrook Free Will Baptist Church, 204 Blue Ridge Road, Black Mountain, NC 28711 or Black Mountain Home for Children, 80 Lake Eden Road, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
