Obituary for Mary Louise Childress
Mary Louise Childress, 81, of Asheville, NC peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, mamaw, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her children, Melinda Gaddy (Eric), Janelle Moore (Ricky), Michael Miller (Donna), Jimmy Childress; brother, Frank Chandler, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Childress; mother, Lela Chandler; father, Frank Chandler, Sr., sister, Norma Stines, and sons, Jimmy Miller, Jr. and Mitch Childress.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services with Rev. Ricky Wolfe officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sabrina and the staff of the Brian Center of Weaverville for the care they provided.
