Obituary for Melanie Lynn Foster
Melanie Lynn Foster, 44, of Asheville, went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2020.
Melanie was born March 27, 1976 in Buncombe County. She was an outgoing and friendly person who always had a smile on her face. Melanie loved the Lord and was a member of Stoney Fork Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Melanie is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Nina Foster, maternal grandparents, Dale and Joan Gates; sisters, Melissa Foster and Heather Foster; and niece, Tessia Plemmons.
Left to cherish her memory is her father and step mother, Robert and Donna Foster; mother, Janet Gates; daughters, Andrea Baird, Autumn Bennett (Jessie), Haili Baird, and Desiree Foster; sister, Katlyn Moss (Jeffrey); brothers, Robbie Foster (Dana) and Brian Foster (Savannah); grandchildren, Molly, Natalie, Carson and Isabella; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Melanie’s life will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals. Burial will be in Stoney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.
