Obituary for Melissa Gae Lynn Cole
Melissa Gae Lynn Cole, 41, of Black Mountain, passed away June 25, 2020.
Ms. Cole was born May 26, 1979 in Buncombe County to the late Donald R. Cole and Sherry Lynn Marrs.
Melissa is survived by her significant other of 15 years, Michael Bailey of Valdosta, GA; sister, Stacy Cole of Black Mountain; nephews, Kaleb M. Waycaster (Natalie) of Black Mountain and Dylan A. Waycaster of Hickory; niece, Sydney A. Waycaster of Black Mountain; great nephew, Theo Waycaster; step mother, Jennifer Rainwater of Candler; and step sister, Sarah Ball of Weaverville;.
A Celebration of Life service for Melissa and her mother, Sherry Marrs, will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00am at Mountain View Church with Rev. Brent Bolick officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CarePartners of Asheville.
