Obituary for Nancy P. Haynie
Nancy P. Haynie, 70 of Old Fort passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.
Mrs. Haynie was born January 26, 1953 in Buncombe County to the late Charles and Elizabeth Penley. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Haynie and two sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Nancy Hawkins; son, James Arthur Haynie (Misty); five sisters and one brother; and three great grandchildren, Michael Hawkins, Morgan Haynie, and James Haynie, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 2:00pm at Greenlee Baptist Church, Old Fort. The family receive friends immediately following the service.
