Obituary for Noah Miller Lehman
Noah Miller Lehman, 19, of Black Mountain passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. Noah was born November 11, 2002 in Buncombe County where he had lived all of his life.
He attended Black Mountain Presbyterian Church. Noah spent his childhood trying to keep up with his big sister and brother, Abby and Wyatt, which made him resilient and tough and was always a loyal and faithful brother to his younger sister and brothers, Mattie, Jonah and Mo. He loved running cross country and track with his Owen team, being out on the mountain, his time working at Rockmont and helping his Aunt Jean with projects around her house. He had a talent for drawing, fueled by his love of comic books and was majoring in Art at UNC-Charlotte. He was passionate about learning, especially anything to do with history. Noah was a loyal friend.
Noah is preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Doris Lehman.
Noah is survived by his father and stepmother, Joseph and Jessica R. Lehman of Black Mountain; mother, Michelle Lehman of Black Mountain; sisters, Abigail Lehman of Charleston, SC and Mattie Lehman of Black Mountain; brothers, Wyatt, Jonah and Moses Lehman all of Black Mountain; and grandparents, Joe and Laura Gettys of Montreat and Richard and Shelia Reaves of Cary.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 1:30pm at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church with Reverends Mary Katherine Robinson and Anthony Rodriguez officiating.
A private family burial will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Noah Lehman Owen High School Athletic Shoe Fund, 99 Lake Eden Rd., Black Mountain, NC 28711.
