Obituary for Norman David Trammel
Norman David Trammel, 84, of Asheville, passed away June 1, 2022 at the VA Hospital.
David was born January 1, 1938 in Madison County to the late Thenward W. Trammel and Hattie Wright Johnson. He was an avid golfer, a veteran of the US Air Force and he retired from the US Postal Service as a Letter Carrier.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Suttles and Ostella Suttles; brother, Everette Trammel; and grandson, Mark Osborne.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Ray Trammel; daughter, Tina Spivey (Larry) of Asheville; son, Stacey Ray Trammel of Asheville; grandchildren, Matthew Osborne and Melanie Stevens (Daniel); and great grandchildren, Copeland, Mariya, Cason, Izabella, Calder and Cole.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Coxie officiating.
