Obituary for Philip R. Yow
Philip Randolph Yow, 81, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
Philip was a son of the late Walter & Ruth Yow. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Walter.
Philip served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963 on the USS Independence. In his civilian career, he worked in various maintenance jobs. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on and building model trains in the various scales and at one time had a garden train in his yard.
Philip is survived by his sister, Ellen; five nieces and one nephew along with their children and grandchildren.
The funeral service for Philip will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, April 23rd at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
