Robert Douglas Peavy of Black Mountain passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020.
Robert was a talented song writer and musician.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Swaney; two children, Robert O’Barry Peavy and Jessica Peavy Atwood of NC; sister, Jean Ingram Carter of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Mikayla and Jayden; two nieces, Michelle Ingram Harrell (Bob) and Juliana Genelle Ingram Thorp (Iain); and three grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mallie Douglas and Bernice Griggs Peavy and a niece, Jillery (Jill) Ingram.
A Celebration of his life will be held in late Spring in Greenville, SC.
