Obituary for Sandra Digges "Sandy" Boyer
Sandra Digges Boyer, 65, of Swannanoa, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020.
Sandy was born February 11, 1955 in Virginia to the late Daniel and Louise Tabor Digges. She loved being a grandmother; and enjoyed upholstery work, basket making and gardening. She was a member of Bee Tree Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Digges; and sister, Marion Kay Digges.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Joe Boyer; sons, Timothy Boyer (Heather) and Rusty Boyer (Jenny); brothers, Jerry Digges (Mickey) and Butch Digges (Monica); sisters, Belinda Shelton (Charlie) and Patricia Maple (Jim); grandchildren, Kayla, Zachary, Becca, Jaime, Devon and Sawyer; and one great grandchild, Kai.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Siemens officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
