Obituary for Selma Renee Allen
Selma Renee Allen, 58, of Asheville, went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2021. She is now at rest with our mama and daddy.
Renee was born January 2, 1963 in McDowell County to Arden and Margie Gregg.
Renee was a wonderful, loving mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, aunt and friend. She loved everyone and will be greatly missed. Renee had an infectious laugh and loved to make people happy. We will miss her so much.
Renee is survived by her daughter, Angel Allen of Asheville; sons, Troy Arden (T.A.) Allen of Asheville and Michael Allen of Asheville; sisters, Anita Gregg of Black Mountain, Judy Dockery (James) of Swannanoa; brothers, Randy Gregg (Fran) Black Mountain and Gerald Gregg (Jannelle) of South Carolina; and grandchildren, Lily, Michael Jr., and one on the way.
A drop-in celebration of life visitation will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Victory Baptist Church in Black Mountain. There will be no formal services.
