Obituary for Shirley Ann Bridges (Watts)
Shirley Ann Bridges, 84, of Swannanoa passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Canton.
After a career with Sears, she spent her retirement traveling, working in her yard and loving her two schnauzers. Shirley was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Carl “Wank” Bridges; parents, Daniel F. and Edith Watts; four half-brothers and a half-sister.
Shirley is survived by her son, Keith Bridges (Amanda); grandson, Patrick Gray Bridges and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the chapel of Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11:00am in Sky View Memorial Park.
