Obituary for Tammy Dillingham Martinson

Tammy Lee Dillingham Martinson, of 765 Nellie John Drive, Clyde, NC, loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on April 13, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Dillingham; grandmother, Tressa Osborne “Bomby”; granddaddy, Boyd Osborne; papaw, Ralph Dillingham; granny, Mildred Dillingham; aunts, Linda Lacey and Judy Dillingham; and uncles, Roger Dillingham and Buddy Dillingham.

She was born in Alexandria, VA and lived there util she was three. Then moved to Swannanoa, NC and lived there until her late 30’s and then moved to Clyde, NC. She went to Owen High School and began working in the mental health field at the Black Mountain Center, Liberty Corners, and Arc of Haywood County, and she also worked as a manager at McDonalds.

Tammy was a sweet and loving mother to her son, Kyle Doalson; and daughter, Tressa Mowery. She also leaves behind her mother, Martha Dillingham; brothers, Ronald Paul Dillingham (Becky), Edward Dean Dillingham, James Allen Dillingham, and Terence “Teddy” Matthew Dillingham (Valerie); grandchildren, Nathanyal Doalson, Paisleigh Doalson, and Knowledge Doalson; aunt, Kim Lewis (Steve); uncles, Paul Osborne and Dennis Lacey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She had a very kind heart and loved everyone. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Harwood Home for Funerals & Cremation Services. A celebration of life service will immediately follow with Pastor David Phillips officiating.
